The Lilyjet Pond Sweep is designed to remove the constant build-up of plant and animal waste on the bottom of your pond. Operation

1. Turn your water on. Too much water pressure will stir up a mess in your pond and too little water pressure will not remove the sediment.
2. Place the head in the water with the exhaust hose going on to the lawn or anywhere away from the pond. This waste water is an excellent fertilizer for your lawn and landscape plants.
3. Using short strokes start vacuuming the pond. Let the vacuum do the work!
4. In balanced ponds vacuuming should be done monthly.

Store your Lilyjet Pond Sweep out of the sun, preferably hanging so that the exhaust hose drains and does not develop kinks.

Problem Solving

• Clear water comes out the exhaust tubing: Where the pond water goes through the head there is a small opening that may clog easily. Force a pencil through the opening to clear all clogs.
• Water shoots out of the head and stirs up the pond sediment: Turn down your water pressure to your garden hose.
• Sweep does not remove the sediment on the bottom of the pool: Lilyjet Pond Sweeps must use a 5/8 inch or larger diameter exhaust hose. Do not replace with a smaller diameter hose or connect to another hose.
